I'm Off to Stone Church of England School, Bucks this afternoon to congratulate some competition winners who as part of a schools project chose to write their own story of who Arnie Jenks might meet during a stay at Shabbington Hall.

Very hard to pick the best as there were so many clever and original thoughts penned. Many thanks to Emma Foster from Haddenham Community Library for co-ordinating, arranging and helping me judge the entries. And to all the pupils and teachers who took part. It's been very exciting!

I'm very much looking forward to meeting the pupils at Brill C of E school, Bucks this Friday 4th March, to introduce them to Arnie Jenks and the House of Strangers. Just re-reading a couple of chapters now over coffee and visualising Arnie breaking into the secret room, and finding what's lurking there!

I wonder what these new readers will think. I'll report back!

Hi everyone. Should you be out and about in Lymington, Hampshire this Saturday 10th October, then I'll be inside the Masonic Hall from 10 till about 4 selling and signing copies of Arrnie Jenks and the House of Strangers. Hope to see you there! More dates to follow shortly in the run up to Christmas!

Thank you for visiting the first ever post on my new blog!

Less than a week to go before the physical book is in my hands but the ebook is now signed off, ready to be uploaded, and this weekend the first of many e-mails confirming the impending arrival of Arnie Jenks into the world will start to fly from my computer....

It's weird and exciting to think of Arnie being out there....
